Camera power supply problem
First, the choice of power supply?
1, the power supply should have lightning protection and leakage prevention measures, with safe grounding.
2. Please don't connect multiple devices to the same power adapter. The power supply voltage may be unstable due to voltage attenuation. If it exceeds the load of the adapter, it may generate too much heat and cause a fire.
Second, what problems will be caused by insufficient power supply?
1. The camera keeps restarting.
2. The infrared camera image is black.

POE power supply method and parameters
PoE power supply belongs to the function of network camera, and analog camera has no PoE function.
POE power supply mode: idle pin (4578) and signal pin (1236) supply power. Both power supply modes are used in the field environment, whether it is 100 Mbps or Gigabit networks. The power supply terminal equipment decides which power supply mode to choose.

Check:
1. Check whether the lens interface is correct. The lens can be divided into C and CS bayonet. Adjust the lens focal length or refocus. If the device has a back focus function, it can also be refocused by adjusting the back focus.

2. The equipment supporting electric zoom can adjust the lens distance through zoom+and zoom-buttons; The focus+and focus-buttons can be used to adjust the clarity of the image.
3. See whether the transparent cover is dirty and whether there are foreign objects such as cobwebs near the lens. As shown below:
4. Check whether it is a lens with automatic aperture under strong light, and try to choose the lens type as electronic aperture.
Second, the phenomenon of horizontal stripes in the picture
Check:
1. There are strong electromagnetic radiation sources near the camera, such as high-voltage cables and high-power motors. Effectively ground the camera, install it away from interference sources as far as possible, and use transmission cables with better shielding performance.
2. The ground level of the camera nearby is inconsistent with that of the DVR at the back end; The front camera can be insulated from the ground.
Vertical stripe phenomenon:
The input voltage is lower than the required working voltage of the camera, resulting in the camera not being able to enter the normal working state; As far as possible, choose the original power adapter for power supply. Please refer to the product parameter table for specific power supply parameters of the camera.
Third, the causes of poor infrared effect
Check:
1. There are handprints, water stains, cobwebs, etc. on the cover, which leads to the dirty transparent cover. Replace the clean transparent cover, and wipe the transparent cover with mirror paper or soft towel.
2. The sponge ring of the equipment is loose or the sponge ring is removed, which leads to light leakage of the equipment (as shown in the following figure). This kind of situation needs to be handled by contacting the after-sales service station.
3. There is a lot of dust in the use environment of the equipment, and the dust reflected by the infrared lamp affects the infrared effect. As shown below:
By adjusting the focal length, adjusting the aperture to manual aperture and turning on the parameters of infrared overexposure prevention, the infrared effect can be improved.
4. Near objects reflect infrared light.
If a small part is blocked from reflecting infrared light, please check whether there are reflective objects around the equipment.
If most or all of the reflected infrared light is blocked, please avoid this installation scene.
5. The equipment installation is not standardized, such as: the installation angle is raised too high, and the ceiling reflects light; There is correlation during installation; There is an obstruction in front of the lens; Because the scene is empty and the shooting angle of the lens is too high, the infrared lamp can't reflect infrared normally.
6. The infrared light is weak and the brightness is insufficient.
(1) Check whether the power supply of the equipment is normal when it is running at night, and make timely rectification when it is abnormal.
(2) Check whether the infrared lamp of the camera is damaged or whether there is an infrared lamp with low brightness. Please contact the service center for handling.
(3) Confirm whether the infrared distance, infrared lamp angle and scene match. If they do not match, there will be overexposure near or insufficient brightness in the distance.
7. The monitoring distance of the equipment exceeds the infrared fill light distance, resulting in insufficient infrared fill light.
8. The infrared light reflection is weak, so it is not suitable for applications in environments such as water surface, inappropriate angle or strong infrared absorption of monitored objects.
