Common faults of pressure transmitter and their solutions

Common pressure transmitter faults and solutions, the main faults are:

1 If the pressure goes up, the transmitter can't lose.

In this case, first check whether the pressure interface leaks or is blocked. If it is not, check the wiring mode. If the wiring is correct, then check the power supply. If the power supply is normal, check whether the sensor zero position has output, or simply pressurize it to see if the output changes. If there is any change, it proves that the sensor is not damaged. If there is no change, the sensor is damaged. Other reasons for this situation may also be instrument damage or problems in other links of the whole system.

2 The output of pressurization transmitter does not change, but the output of pressurization transmitter suddenly changes, and the zero position of pressure relief transmitter cannot go back.

The reason for this phenomenon is most likely caused by the pressure sensor sealing ring, which has been encountered several times in our customers' use. Generally, it is because of the specifications of the sealing ring (too soft or too thick). When the sensor is tightened, the sealing ring is compressed into the pressure port of the sensor to block the sensor, and the pressure medium can't enter when it is pressurized. However, when the pressure is very high, the sealing ring suddenly bursts open, and the pressure sensor changes due to the pressure. When the pressure is reduced again, the sealing ring returns to block the pressure port, and the residual pressure can't be released, so the zero position of the sensor can't come down. The * * * method to eliminate this reason is to remove the sensor and directly check whether the zero position is normal. If it is normal, replace the sealing ring and try again.

3 transmitter output signal is unstable

There are several reasons for signal instability.

A. The stressor itself is an unstable pressure.

B. The instrument or pressure sensor has poor anti-interference ability.

C. sensor wiring is not firm

D. The sensor itself vibrates badly.

4 The transmitter is connected with electricity and has no output.

A. Wrong wiring (both instruments and sensors are checked)

B. Open circuit or short circuit of the conductor itself

C. power supply has no output or power supply mismatch.

5. The deviation between transmitter and pointer pressure gauge is large.

The error value of the pressure gauge is calculated, for example, the measuring range of the pressure gauge is 30bar, the accuracy is 1.5%, and the minor scale of * * is 0.2bar. The normal error is 30 bar * 1.5%+0.2 * 0.5 (visual error) =0.55 bar.

6 Error value of pressure transmitter

For example, the range of pressure sensor is 20bar, the accuracy is 0.5%, the instrument accuracy is 0.2%, and the normal error is: 20 bar * 0.5%+20 bar * 0.2% = 0.18 bar. The error range of equipment with large error value should prevail. In the above example, the deviation between sensor and transmitter can be regarded as normal within 0.55bar.

If the deviation is very large, use a high-precision instrument (at least this instrument is higher than the pressure gauge and sensor) for reference.

7 Influence of installation position of micro differential pressure transmitter on zero output

Because the measuring range of the micro differential pressure transmitter is very small, the self-weight of the sensing element in the transmitter will affect the output of the micro differential pressure transmitter, so the zero change in the installation of the micro differential pressure transmitter is normal. During installation, the pressure sensitive part of the transmitter should be perpendicular to the gravity direction. If the installation conditions are limited, the zero position of the transmitter should be adjusted to the standard value after installation and fixation.
