Installation and replacement of tower crane slewing support


1. Before installation, the base surface of slewing support installation and the mounting plane of support must be cleaned, and oil, burrs, paint and other foreign bodies must be removed.


2. The hardening soft belt of the slewing bearing raceway (external mark "S" or plugging hole) should be placed in the non-load area or non-regular load area.

4. Before tightening the bolts, determine the flatness of the high point of the radial runout of the gear pitch circle. If there is a gap, it should be re-machined, and if it can not be processed, it can be filled with plastic or local gasket to prevent the deformation of the support after the bolt is tightened, affecting the slewing bearing performance. (Three teeth marked with green paint) Adjust the side clearance of the teeth, and check the side clearance of the secondary teeth on the tooth ring after the bolt is tightened.


5. Tightening the bolts should be carried out symmetrically and continuously in the direction of 180, and then passed through to ensure that the bolts on the circumference have the same pre-tightening force.

1. Before assembling the slewing bearing, the bearing should be stress-relieved to reduce the deformation of the slewing bearing. The contact surface between the support and the slewing support must be cleaned during assembly.

5. When tightening the nut, lubricating oil should be applied to the thread of the bolt and the nut surface, and the torque wrench should be used to tighten it symmetrically and evenly for many times in the circular direction. When tightening all over, the pre-tightening torque on each bolt should be roughly uniform.


6, the slewing support must be lifted or stored horizontally, do not lift or store vertically, so as to avoid deformation.

7, before the bolt is finished tightening, the gear mesh check should be carried out, and the mesh condition should meet the requirements of gear accuracy: that is, the contact spots distributed on the tooth surface after the gear pair runs under slight braking are not less than 25% in the direction of tooth height, and not less than 30% in the direction of tooth length.


8, connecting the bolts and nuts of the slewing support are made of high-strength bolts and nuts; Double nut fastening and locking.


9. Four oil cups are distributed on the upper surface of the tooth ring of the slewing support aligned with the raceway, from which grease is added to the raceway. The relevant technical personnel of Longma bearing introduce that under normal circumstances, the slewing bearing runs for 50 hours of lubrication. Add enough oil each time until the oil seeps from the seal.
