What are the characteristics of industrial aluminum profiles?

1. Non-ferromagnetic

Aluminum profiles are non-ferromagnetic, which is an important characteristic for electrical and electronic industries. Aluminum profiles cannot spontaneously ignite, which is important for applications involving handling or contact with flammable and explosive materials.

2. Machinability

Machinability of aluminum profiles is excellent. In all kinds of wrought aluminum alloys and cast aluminum alloys, and in all kinds of states after these alloys are produced, the machining characteristics change greatly, which requires special machine tools or technologies.

3. Formability

Specific tensile strength, yield strength, ductility and corresponding work hardening rate dominate the variation of allowable deformation.

4. Recoverability

Aluminum is highly recyclable, and the characteristics of recycled aluminum are almost the same as those of primary aluminum.

5. Corrosion resistance

The density of aluminum profile is only 2.7g/cm3, which is about 1/3 of that of steel, copper or brass (7.83g/ cm3 and 8.93g/ cm3 respectively). In most environmental conditions, including air, water (or salt water), petrochemical and many chemical systems, aluminum can show excellent corrosion resistance

Aluminum profiles should be cooled to a certain temperature during production and processing.

At present, the application of aluminum profiles in the home industry has become more and more extensive, and it has started to develop from the previous door and window production to the whole house custom home. All doors and windows that need to be made of wood can be made of aluminum alloy, semi-aluminum, semi-wood, push-pull type, open-close type and folding type. Their colors and shapes are the same as those of wooden luxury doors and stainless steel security doors, and even the carved flowers on them can be expressed by die casting. The aluminum alloy bathroom door is not inferior in hardness and firmness.

So what are the precautions for aluminum profiles during stretching?

1. Stretching must be carried out when the sliding door profile is cooled to below 50℃. If the temperature is too high, stretching will not only burn the human body and the tops, but also present twists and turns, twisting, dysfunction and other waste products before and after aging because the internal stress of aluminum alloy profile cannot be completely eliminated.

2. The stretching amount is controlled at about 1%, and it should be noted that if the stretching amount is too high, there will be head-to-tail scale errors, water-like twist (fish scale) marks on the surface, low elongation, high hardness and brittleness (low plasticity). Too low stretching will make the compressive strength and hardness of the profile low, and even aging (quenching) can not improve the hardness, and the profile is easy to bend (commonly known as broadsword bending).

3. In order to control the tensile deformation and well control the dimensional change of the whole profile, appropriate special clamps and appropriate methods should be selected. Especially for opening material, circular arc material, cantilever material and zigzag profile, we should pay more attention to the reasonable and useful use of tensile clamping pad.

Production and processing of aluminum profiles

4. Pay attention to the stress conditions of feet, thin teeth, long legs, circular surfaces, inclined surfaces, openings, viewpoints, etc. of profiles with high width-to-thickness ratio, long overhanging walls, large radians, different wall thicknesses, and strange shapes, so as to avoid the defects such as deformation, twisting, and spiral of some or point-like dimensions of profiles.

5. Because the tops have the effect of resisting heat emission, aluminum profiles with high decorative appearance requirements must be turned up and down, back and forth, so as to facilitate uniform heat dissipation and reduce the transverse bright spots caused by uneven heat dissipation and different crystallinity, especially for aluminum profiles with large width and thick walls.

6. Do not touch, pull, stack, jam or entangle with each other during picking, moving and stretching, and keep a certain interval between them. The aluminum alloy profiles with easy twists and turns and long discharge length should be disposed of in time, and they should be maintained and disposed of when necessary.

Aluminum oxide is dissolved by electrolytic polishing for polishing industrial aluminum profiles.

With the development of the times, aluminum profiles are more widely used, which makes us need to master polishing skills to prevent oxidation and fading of aluminum profiles besides using aluminum profiles. With the development of various means of transportation, such as airplanes, ships, automobiles and even household products, aluminum casings are used in office furniture, which can be said to be widely used in many fields and closely related to people's lives. However, every year, many industrial aluminum profiles are oxidized and lose their luster. At this time, we need to polish them to restore their former luster. General polishing is divided into three forms, namely polishing, mechanical polishing and electropolishing. In the process of polishing cars or ships, we should grasp the order, first carry out mechanical polishing, and then carry out electric polishing, so as to achieve bright and restore the past luster, and we can also color the aluminum profile shell.

According to different use requirements, the following are several methods to treat the surface of aluminum profile shell:

1. Anodizing, that is, removing the alumina on the aluminum profile shell, and effectively polishing.

2, electrolytic polishing, electrolytic polishing in the use of chemical reaction with electrolytic polishing as the anode and insoluble metal as the cathode, immersed in an electrolytic cell, energized with direct current to dissolve the anodic alumina, and the alumina disappeared from the aluminum profile shell to restore luster.

3. Chemical polishing can be used as the pretreatment process of protective decorative electroplating, and can also be used as the pretreatment process of chemical film formation such as phosphating bluing. If the antirust passivation solution is dipped before painting, the aluminum oxide on the surface of aluminum profile shell can be eliminated.

4. Dye the color after anodic oxidation of electrolytic reaction, form various colors on the oxide film, and then color it, which depends on your requirements.
