Pretreatment process: degreasing and decontamination of aluminum → water washing → alkaline washing (degreasing) → water washing → acid washing → water washing → chromizing → water washing → pure water washing.

Spraying process: spraying primer → topcoat → finishing paint → baking (180-250℃)→ quality inspection.

The multi-layer spraying process consists of three spraying (referred to as three spraying for short), primer, topcoat and topcoat and secondary spraying (primer and topcoat).

1, the purpose of pretreatment

2. Primer coating

The thickness of the paint layer is generally 5-10 microns.

3. Topcoat coating

Topcoat coating is the key layer of spray coating, which is to provide the decorative color needed by aluminum, make the appearance of aluminum meet the design requirements, and protect the metal surface from external environment, acid rain and pollution, prevent ultraviolet rays from penetrating, and greatly enhance the anti-aging ability. Topcoat coating is the thickest paint layer in spray coating, and the thickness of paint layer is generally 23-30 microns.

4, finish paint coating

The topcoat coating, also known as varnish coating, is mainly aimed at effectively enhancing the external corrosion resistance of the paint layer, protecting the topcoat layer, increasing the metallic luster of the topcoat color, and making the appearance more vivid and dazzling. The coating thickness is generally 5-10 microns, and the total thickness of the three spray coatings is generally 40-60 microns, which can be thickened if necessary.

5, curing treatment

The third spray coating generally needs secondary curing, and the aluminum material enters the curing furnace for treatment. The curing temperature is generally between 180℃ and 250℃, and the curing time is 15-25 minutes. Different fluorocarbon coating manufacturers will provide the best temperature and time according to their own coatings, and some chlorine carbon spraying plants (oil plants) also change the secondary curing to primary curing according to their own experience.

6. Quality inspection

Quality inspection should be in accordance with AAMA-605.02.90 standard, and strict quality inspection can ensure high-quality sprayed products.
