What kind of pressure gauge is better? How to choose?
(1) Range selection
When measuring stable pressure, the range of general pressure gauge is close to or greater than 1.5 times the measured value of normal pressure;
When measuring pulsating pressure, the measuring range of general pressure gauge is close to or more than 2 times of the measured value of normal pressure;
When measuring the outlet pressure of the pump, the range of the general pressure gauge is close to the outlet pressure of the pump;
When measuring high pressure, the range selection of general pressure gauge should be greater than 1.7 times of the pressure measurement value;
In order to ensure the accuracy of pressure measurement, the minimum pressure measurement value should be higher than 1/3 of the measuring range of the pressure gauge.
(2) Type selection
When the pressure measurement is greater than 0.4MPa, the spring tube pressure gauge can be selected;
When the pressure measurement is less than 0.04MPa, bellows and bellows pressure gauges can be selected;
When measuring viscous, easy to crystallize, corrosive and containing solid particles, diaphragm pressure gauge or attached chemical sealing device can be used;
Stainless steel pressure gauge or condensation ring should be selected for steam measurement or medium pressure measurement above 60℃;
Damper or shock-resistant pressure gauge should be attached to the measurement of pulsating pressure;
Dust collector should be set when measuring gas containing dust;
When measuring the pressure of gas containing liquid, a gas-liquid separator should be set up;
Special pressure gauges should be used to measure some chemical media: ammonia pressure gauge should be used for pressure measurement of ammonia-containing media, oxygen pressure gauge should be used for pressure measurement of oxygen, acetylene pressure gauge should be used for pressure measurement of acetylene, and sulfur-resistant pressure gauge should be used for pressure measurement of sulfur-containing media;
High pressure pressure gauges (greater than 10MPa) should have pressure relief safety facilities.
The accuracy grade of pressure gauge is the abbreviation of accuracy grade or accuracy grade of pressure gauge, which is called the accuracy grade of instrument according to GB/T1226-2001 General Pressure Gauge and JJG52-1999 Spring Tube General Pressure Gauge, pressure vacuum gauge and Vacuum Gauge.
The accuracy grade of pressure gauge reflects the accuracy of the indication value close to the real value when the meter is compared with the standard. Accuracy of pressure gauge = basic error value of the tested meter ÷ upper limit ratio of measurement ×100%.
Note: The allowable error of the 1.5-level pressure gauge in use is calculated as 1.6, and the accuracy level may not be changed.
Under the reference working conditions, the pressure gauge accuracy grade inspection shall include the following four items:
1. Indication error
Within the measuring range, the indicated error shall not be greater than the allowable error specified in Table 2.
2. Return error
Within the measuring range, the return error shall not be greater than the allowable error specified in Table 2.
3. Tap the displacement
After tapping the case lightly, the change of the pointer indication value should not be greater than 1/2 of the allowable error value specified in Table 2.
4. Pointer deflection stationarity
Within the measuring range, the pointer deflection should be smooth, without jumping and jamming.
