Generally, the shell materials of pressure gauges are ABS (engineering plastics), carbon steel, 304 stainless steel and copper alloy. We should choose the shell materials of pressure gauges according to the specific environment. Usually, diaphragm pressure gauges use ABS and 304 stainless steel.

Third, the connection mode

The connection mode of pressure gauge can be divided into axial (back connection) and radial (bottom connection), but in reality, customers can choose some options according to the specific situation. In fact, the main function of these liquids is to increase the resistance and effectively prevent the pointer of the pressure gauge from constantly vibrating, so that we can read the pressure value accurately. Generally, it is commonly used near the pump or in an environment with severe vibration.

Generally, the measuring medium temperature of copper alloy measuring elements is +80 degrees, and that of stainless steel is +200 degrees; However, if the pressure gauge you choose is a liquid-filled shock-resistant pressure gauge, the medium temperature at this time can only reach +100 degrees; If the temperature is too high, but it must be earthquake-resistant, the way we adopt is condensation bend.

Seven, measuring range

Because the pressure gauge drives the pointer to rotate through the deformation of the measuring element, so as to display the pressure value, we should also pay attention when choosing the measuring range. Generally, it is ideal to measure the pressure at 3/4 or 2/3 of the measuring range of the pressure gauge. If you choose a large one, the pointer changes little, and the read pressure value will be inaccurate. If you choose a small one, the pressure gauge will be damaged due to overload.
